Mr. Jack McClurg - Managing Partner, AeroColorado
Mr. Jack McClurg is currently the founder and co-trustee of the Jack and Mary McClurg Exempt Trust, dba McClurg Century Investments. He is also Co-Founder of J&K Capital. J&K Capital operates as a private equity fund and invests in numerous real estate and other business endeavors.
Mr. McClurg was previously employed at HealthTran LLC in the position of Chief Executive Officer. He held that position for 13 years. Mr. McClurg was also the co-founder of HealthTrans.
Prior to forming HealthTrans, Mr. McClurg held the position of vice president and chief information officer of Integrated Pharmaceutical Services (IPS), was a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), and director of software engineering for Micromedex Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thomson Publishing.
Jack is a pilot and owns multiple aircraft.
Mr. Lou Hutchison - Managing Partner, AeroColorado
Louis (Lou) Hutchison, Jr., is the Chief Executive Officer for Apokalyyis, Inc. (Ah-pock-ah-lie-us). Apokalyyis provides custom-tailored deep analytics solutions for companies in multiple vertical industries. Apokalyyis’ solutions are built upon its proprietary relationship recognition algorithms.
Prior to forming HealthTrans, Mr. Hutchison founded Systems Xcellence USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Systems Xcellence, Inc. where he served in various executive level positions, both within the parent organization and the subsidiary in the area of sales, marketing, and corporate and business development.
Prior to joining Systems Xcellence, Mr. Hutchison owned and managed a successful business and technology management consulting practice and worked for Shared Financial Systems (Now S2 Corporation).
Lou owns multiple aircraft and enjoys flying as a student pilot.
Ms. Kori McClurg - Managing Partner, AeroColorado
Ms. Kori McClurg served as an analyst and flight test engineer in the United States Air Force. While stationed at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) and Nellis AFB, Kori specialized in electronic warfare testing, specifically radio frequency and infrared aircraft defensive countermeasures. After serving on active duty, Kori continued to work in the test arena as a consultant to DoD.
Nearly four years ago, Kori moved to Denver, CO to take a position as a senior project manager at HealthTrans, but soon became a subject matter expert in pharmacy claims adjudication, specializing in Medicare Part D. After HealthTrans was acquired in early 2012, Kori and her father Jack, started a private investment firm, J&K Capital. Kori continues work as a DoD consultant from time-to-time.
In addition, Kori is the manager for AeroColorado, a joint venture between the Jack and Mary McClurg Trust and the Hutchison Family Trust. Kori is also an avid pilot with a particular love for vintage airplanes. She’s pictured here next to her 1956 Cessna 172.
Mr. Loren Hofer - Aviation Manager and Chief Pilot AeroColorado
Serving as the Aviation Manager and Chief Pilot for AeroColorado, Loren brings over 15 years of aviation and management experience to this position. Flying professionally since 2002, Loren has extensive experience in many facets of the Aviation industry from General Aviation to Part 135 operations to managing corporate flight departments.
An accomplished pilot with experience flying everything from classic light piston to modern turbine aircraft, Loren is an invaluable asset to the AeroColorado team.
Mr. Iver L. Retrum - Vice President of Business Development AeroColorado
Serving as VP of Business Development for of AeroColorado, Mr. Retrum brings twenty plus years of experience in the business and general aviation industry to AeroColorado. Having worked in leadership positions with such companies as Signature Flight Support, ARINC Direct, Precision Aircraft, Steven’s Aviation, and SunBorne XVI, Ltd, Mr. Retrum brings a broad range of aviation specific knowledge and experience to AeroColorado.
Mr. Retrum is a certified Colorado real estate broker, a commercially rated pilot and flight instructor, and sits on several industry boards including the NBAA Access Committee, Colorado Aviation Business Association, and the Colorado General Aviation Alliance. He is also the founding part owner of Hangar Network (www.hangarnetwork.com), a national web-based aviation real estate multi listing service.
AeroColorado took the time to build the ideal Class A hangar. Rather than copying common and often antiquated practices, we took the time to meet with experts who live and breathe in the hanger environment every day. They told us inconvenient storage, awkward maintenance and operations and poor client flows resulted in confusing, inefficient, and even dangerous working conditions. You be the judge and compare.
